Beginnings: The Genesis Connection

Genesis, the first book of the Bible, introduces many of the important themes of salvation history that come into play in the later pages of scripture.  Themes such as creation, evil, humanity, temptation, sin, judgment, grace, and salvation are all a part of the Genesis account.  These important topics set the stage for the coming of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament.  In 2010 Crossroads will be taking an in-depth look at Genesis and making appropriate connections to other parts of the Bible.  This will prove to be a challenging and enlightening walk through God’s Word through the lens of Genesis.  Don’t miss Beginnings…The Genesis Connection!

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered program that gives people the resources and relationships to help recover from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. This is a program for anyone struggling with past or current dysfunctions or compulsions, whether they are affecting their own lives or the lives of those around them. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles found in the beatitudes and Christ-centered Twleve Steps. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power. Celebrate Recovery meets on Fridays @ 7pm @ Crossroads. For more information you can email Shane McCullough.

Mission-a-Month

Crossroads will be focusing on missions this year by highlighting different mission opportunities for each month of 2010. The mission highlight for February is Africa Missions. Crossroads supports our mission partners in Africa (Bob & Candace Walker serving with Heart of the Bride in Zambia, Jeremy & Mindie Tice serving with World Partners in Guinea, and Bryan Donahue serving with Impact Missions in Zambia). Please be praying for these missionaries during the next month. In March we will be focusing on the youth of Crossroads.

Brown Bag Ministry

Crossroads recieves many requests each week for food. In order to serve our local community in a practical way we are asking volunteers to fill a brown bag with practical grocery items. We will have empty bags, with a list of items needed attached, at the back of the auditorium. All bags can then be returned to Crossroads for distribution. Thanks for your generosity! Click here to get a list of items to fill your brown bag.

Blood Drive

The Bloodmobile will be visiting Crossroads on the following days in 2010: March 14, June 6, September 19 & December 19. Please mark your calendars and plan on donating!
